Have you grown dahlias for the first time this year but are unsure how to lift, store, divide and save them?

Have you saved your dahlias before but realized too late that they shriveled and dried up, or rotted, or got eaten by mice?

Wondering if you should store them in peat moss, wood shavings, or plastic wrap or some other medium?

Do you just want to hang out with other flower lovers and gardeners, and find out how to get the most tubers out of a clump that you can?

Join us on December 9th at 2pm for an intimate 90 minute workshop on dividing and storing dahlias!  The workshop will be held in Monroe at New Petal Flower Farm, just a 10 minute drive from Easton, Weston and minutes from Redding and Newtown!  Spots are limited due to space so don’t wait to reserve your spot!

Participants will go home with a brand new pair of our favorite floral shears - our go-to tool for dividing tough dahlia tubers and cutting stems during the warm season!  Participants will also take home 5 mystery tubers from New Petal Farm. We grow only the most coveting varieties, so these tubers could be worth their weight in gold, but just lost a label.  Toddlers, anyone?  😂

Don’t have any dahlias to divide? No problem! We have plenty of tuber clumps for you to practice on.

Warm, light refreshments will be served.  Rain/snow date will be Sunday, December 10th at 2pm.  Dress warmly to be outside!  More details will be emailed after purchase of tickets.

Can’t wait to see you there!
Cheers!
